New Caribbean coaches from Marcopolo

South American manufacturer Marcopolo has delivered six new coaches to De Palm Tours, one of the largest tour operators in the region. The six Viaggio 900 coaches are built on Volvo B330R 4X2 chassis, and will be used to transport cruise passengers to their hotels as well as on trips and tours, which are resuming after the interruption due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

“We are increasingly strengthening our presence in the Caribbean region with the supply of unique vehicles developed for the specific needs of each market,” highlighted José Luiz Moraes Goes, Marcopolo Executive Manager of International Business for the Latin American Region.

With a total length of 12,500mm, the Viaggio 900s for De Palm Tour have 51 executive seats, with seatbelts and USB sockets; air-conditioning; cab partition walls; audio and video systems and monitor in addition to two monitoring cameras and; front electronic destination signs. One of the vehicles supplied is equipped with an easy access system.

De Palm Tours operates a fleet of 50 buses and has been a Marcopolo customer for over 10 years. Founded in 1960, the company has grown and currently has around 400 employees working in seven divisions, all focused on entertainment, tourism and transportation for visitors in Aruba and the surrounding region.
