BELGIUM Alexander Dennis Limited (ADL) will present two buses at this year’s Busworld Kortrijk, the first time it has exhibited at the show. It will be showing on Stand 113 in Hall 1.

ADL says it wants to build on its recent success in the continental European market, where it secured a launch order for 19 tri-axle Enviro500s from Swiss national operator PostAuto. On display will be one of those air-conditioned buses which are 12.9m long, have two staircases, three doors and seat 79 passengers.

Also on show will be an Enviro200 which the manufacturer describes as the world’s best-selling lightweight single-deck bus. It will be a 10.4m example destined for Dutch Railways-owned Abellio in London. In continental Europe, ADL expects a phased market entry to ensure all vehicles are fully supported by the company’s comprehensive aftermarket services. These now include the powerful AD Connected tool which allows engineers to better plan maintenance and further reduces the Enviro family’s low total cost of ownership.

ADL is Britain’s biggest bus and coach manufacturer and a global leader in the manufacture of lightweight, fuel-efficient vehicles. It employs 2,500 people and supports a further 1,500 through build partnerships in Europe, Hong Kong, China, Malaysia, New Zealand, Mexico, the USA and Canada.
