Alexander Dennis Ltd (ADL) held an open day at its Slyfield Industrial Estate, Guildford chassis plant on Saturday (11 May).

The company and its predecessors have been part of the local community for over 120 years and there were guided tours of the factory as well as opportunities to view the current ADL product range and a display of classic Dennis vehicles.

Rides on vintage vehicles were also available.

A Park & Ride operated and free services connected the plant with Woking and Guildford railway stations.

David Bell went along and enjoyed the day.
