The Bus Collection at Alford (Aberdeen and District Transport Preservation Trust) is holding its second open day on Sunday, July 9, between 1100 and 1600hrs.
The event will once again be held in the grounds of The Grampian Transport Museum, where the bus group has a purpose-built facility to maintain and store its range of vehicles dating back to the 1930s.
Gordon Mills, Chairman, told CBW: “On the day, we will have a range of our own vehicles – as well as a number of visiting vehicles on display. We will be operating rides around the track within the museum site, in addition to periodic rides around Alford, using a variety of different vehicles.”
