Runcorn-based coach operator Anthony’s Travel has agreeing to sponsor James and Ted Chapelhow from Widnes Vikings for the forthcoming season.
The family-run operator provides all official coach transport for Widnes Vikings and is also in the club’s community programme as a member of The Vikings Ambassador Network.
Explaining the decision to further increase his company’s involvement further with the rugby club, Richard Bamber Managing Partner said: “We’ve worked extensively with Widnes Vikings for many years. The ethos of the club is one of community, with our already award winning community programme extending links with Widnes Vikings forms the perfect synergy with our local activities. Not only will be looking forward to seeing James and Ted on the pitch this season but we will also be linking them with our community partners and carrying out appearances for our charities and good causes, we are anticipating a great year both on the pitch and within the Borough of Halton. They are still young lads and believe it or not, still growing and with lots of support will have an exciting future.”
