Arriva has expanded the senior team responsible for its bus services in the North East and Yorkshire.
Led by Nigel Featham, Regional Managing Director, the operator has appointed Lisa Davies, Steve Rowell and Jon Croxford to complete its eight-strong director team.
Lisa Davies returns to Arriva as Regional HR Director following a successful period with Ward Hadaway. Prior to joining the law firm, Lisa had worked in various HR roles within Arriva, including a stint in mainland Europe.
Similarly, Steve Rowell, who joins as Regional Engineering Director from Vivarail Ltd, who brings with him 24 years of rail engineering experience, had previously worked for Arriva under the guise of Tyne and Wear Metro.
Jon Croxford, the newly appointed Area Managing Director for Arriva Yorkshire, is one of the group’s youngest directors. Having started on the First Bus graduate management programme in 2008, Jon joined Arriva in 2014 as a General Manager. Multiple different roles since then have seen him rise through the ranks to become Area Managing Director within a couple of years.
Nigel Featham, Regional Managing Director, commented: “It’s great to get the final pieces of the jigsaw in place for the region.
“We now have a strong directorship team, helping and guiding a great senior management team, capable of delivering the service our customers want and expect. It’s an exciting time for the industry and a very exciting time within Arriva North East and Yorkshire right now.”
Lisa, Steve and Jon are joining the already established Arriva North East and Yorkshire directorship team.
