Arriva Midlands has reported a 10% year-on-year bus patronage increase following the introduction of the Sapphire 110 route which runs between Tamworth, Sutton Coldfield, Erdington and Birmingham.
Due to increased demand additional journeys were also added to the popular route with the new timetable coming into effect on September 20.
Two additional Sapphire buses will also be added to the fleet in Tamworth ensuring that the reliable route continues to cater for passengers with a punctual service.
