Arriva’s national partnership with Trade Your Transport, has reached its 100th transaction.
Run by Cartakeback, the UK’s largest scrap recycling network, the scheme incentivises people to cash in their car to earn rewards, which will allow them to access greener and more affordable transport.
Arriva will offer those who scrap their car a chance to claim free four-weekly tickets, which are worth more than the value of a scrapped car alone.
“At Arriva, we are committed to providing a viable alternative for car users,” said David Shadbolt from Arriva. “Even if just for a few journeys a week, it really does help to reduce pollution and congestion in towns and city centres.”
