Bells Coaches of Newcastle upon Tyne, has turned to Volvo for the latest addition to its fleet with a delivery of a new B8R Sunsundegui SB3.
The family run coach company has taken delivery of the 72-
seat vehicle to specifically meet the needs of its contracts for local schools and colleges.
Michael Bell, Managing Director of Bells Coaches, said: “Our new vehicle will be used for various private hire contracts and when the time came to add a new coach to our fleet, it was an easy choice to go with Volvo.
“We were attracted to the vehicle mainly due to the operational efficiency, fuel economy and reliability offered by the B8R chassis as well as the impressive seating capacity of the SB3.
“We have a great relationship with our local Volvo Truck and Bus Centre in Blyth and have always received excellent service, which was also an important element in our decision making. In addition, our Retail Bus and Coach Sales Manager, Bob McGarry, has been a great help from the initial specification stage right through to delivery.”
Bob McGarry added: “Bells Coaches is a longstanding customer of ours with ten Volvo vehicles in its fleet, so it is a pleasure to supply them with this most recent addition. We’re confident the B8R will more than meet their expectations and look forward to working with the company again in the future.”
Established in 1932, Bells Coaches has been operating in Newcastle upon Tyne for more than 80 years. The company specialises in private hire contracts, including schools and weddings, as well as corporate events and excursions.
