Bookings are now open for the next Young Bus Managers Network conference, which will be held in Liverpool from March 29-30.

David Brown, Chief Executive of Go-Ahead Group, will be the after-dinner speaker during the evening of March 29, while the programme for the day conference on March 30 will include Giles Fearnley, MD of First Bus; Alex Hornby, CEO of Transdev Blazefield; Jane Cole, MD of Blackpool Transport; and David Brown, CEO of Transport for the North.

The venue for the event is the Radisson BLU hotel in the city centre, with views of the River Mersey and Liverpool’s iconic waterfront buildings.

The event will include a trip on the Mersey Ferries over lunch, as well as the opportunity to sample the new buses from local operators Stagecoach and Arriva.

Committee Member Alex Hornby said: “The Young Bus Managers Network continues to go from strength to strength, thanks to the amazing support of the industry, in terms of both the great leaders who we are fortunate to attract and present to us, and the many young managers who are able to support us.

“Following our record-breaking attendance in Glasgow last October, we’re looking forward to creating another exceptional conference in Liverpool.”
