As of Tuesday 28 April, brake component manufacturer Brembo reopened some of its activities at the Italian plants of Curno, Mapello and Sellero, after they were temporarily suspended on 16 March 16 due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

During the closing period, Brembo focused its efforts on implementing and reinforcing safety measures, following the instructions of Italian authorities. The company worked on the disinfection and sanitisation of all its working environments and has intensified safety measures for its staff.

These measures include the use of protective masks to be worn throughout the day spent in the plant and an increase in the number of hand disinfectant dispensers.

In addition, at every entrance to the facilities, employees will have their body temperature measured before entering.
