Otokar Europe has appointed Brian Noone Ltd as distributor for Otokar buses in the United Kingdom, Republic of Ireland, Northern Ireland and the Channels Islands.

In the UK, distribution of Otokar buses will be carried out through Minis to Midis, the appointed agent of Brian Noone.

Alan White of Minis to Midis told CBW: “It’s an exciting development that enables us to further expand the business. Being able to offer a 37-seater coach is a great addition to the range and the Vectio C will offer the opportunity to examine opportunities in the bus market.”

“We anticipate that the first Navigo T’s will be available in April. An initial batch of 10 is in production, of which we will have half.

“We’re already increasing the size of our parts store facility and looking at recruiting more staff on the sales, administration and service sides of the business.”

Brian Noone Ltd has been established for over 50 years in the motor industry and is located in Maynooth, on a five acre site just off the M4 motorway, 20 minutes from Dublin Airport.

A second generation family run business with over 30 staff, Brian Noone specialises in providing small and large coaches and full after-sales support. Among the range of services offered are an after-sales service, spare parts, crash repairs including 15m spray booth, CVRT Centre for light and heavy goods, coach glazing – supply and fitting, tilt testing, tachograph calibrating, speed limiter sealing and air-conditioning servicing.

Founded in 1963, Otokar offers vehicles ranging from seven – 18.75m in size for city, interurban and tourism markets. Each vehicle is developed with a focus on low operating costs as well as flexibility and long years of reliable service.
