London’s iconic RT types are going to be remembered in style at a special event, reports Nick Larkin
Heritage operators will have the chance to buy one of several legendary AEC buses after more than 40 – some of which have not been seen for half a century – attend a special event on Saturday 30 March. Roger Wright, of former Blue Triangle and latterly London Bus Company fame is supplying no less than 20 of the buses and “probably a few more.” Said Roger: “We have been working hard to get all of these buses ready and there are some real surprises among them.”
