Cheadle Tourism Group has recently launched an online visitor pack which is aimed at helping coach drivers and group organisers to plan their visits to the North Staffordshire market town.
The group was assisted by Cheadle Discovery Group which has agreed to be the main contact point for group visits.
The visitor pack, which features on the visitor section of www.cheadlestaffordshire.co.uk, provides information on a number of the town’s attractions, along with opening hours and key events. There is also information on coach parking, drop off points and local transport in the area.
Ivan Wozniak, Vice Chairman, commented: “This information pack is the culmination of a lot of hard work by the Tourism Group.
“We are delighted that the town’s cafes have also agreed to support this initiative. Our strategy of focussing on visitor needs has been so successful and helped us previously deliver a re-branding of the town, new welcome signs, visitor trail information panels and a town map.”
Mike Plant of Cheadle Historical Society, added: “The town has a lot to offer visitors both from its heritage, and the shops and high quality cafes and restaurants in the town.”
