James Day reports from the CENEX Low Carbon Vehicle Event 2018, where a variety of low carbon bus options were on display

The CENEX Low Carbon Vehicle (LCV) event at Millbrook Proving Ground continues to grow every year, with 3,000 attendees expected for the 2018 event.

While low emission cars continue to dominate, there is always plenty to see from the bus industry, with a number of operators providing interesting vehicles to shuttle delegates between the car park and the show area.

What follows are some of the coach and bus highlights from this year’s event, which took place from 12-13 September.

ABB

Swedish-Swiss multinational corporation ABB was launching what it claimed is the UK’s fastest charging system.Called the Terra HPC, the company said the product could add 124 miles to a vehicle’s range in eight minutes. […]
