Following its success at the UK Coach Awards in May, where it won the Gold Award for Top Small Fleet Operator, Woods Travel of Bognor Regis attended the Johnston Press Southern Business Awards on 7 September 2018, where it won Medium Business of the Year and Overall Business of the Year.
Woods was one of over 80 local businesses which were shortlisted for these awards, having won the Medium Business Award and Overall Business Award at the Observer & Gazette Business Awards back in April.
The awards recognise, reward and celebrate the achievements of local businesses within the South Coast region, encompassing East and West Sussex and the Portsmouth area.
Sales Director, Alison Waterfield-Jones, said the company’s success was due to: “Great staff, great customers and great customer service. We like what we do and we all like each other which helps. Thank you to our customers, many who have travelled with us many times, and our dedicated staff. We will soon be celebrating our 50 years and are ready for big celebrations after this.”
