A classic Bedford coach was borrowed back by its original operator to pay tribute at the funeral of the man who for many years had been its regular driver.

The funeral of popular Lincolnshire driver, Ray Holland took place at Gedney Hill on 8 February. Ray had joined W H Fowler & Sons of Holbeach Drove following the takeover of Towler’s Coaches in 1964. He remained there until the mid-1990s when he retired, but still occasionally helped out afterwards if requested as well as working at his family’s market garden. […]
