When the hotel shuttle temporarily broke down at the Association for Public Service Excellence (APSE) Conference in Aviemore in the Scottish Highlands, a new Strata High Floor (HF) vehicle from Mellor Coachcraft was on hand to fulfil the role of transporting delegates and exhibitors to their hotel.
Lorna Miller, National Sales Manager for Mellor, who was attending the conference, said: “We received the call that the minibus had broken down and that visitors were having difficulties getting from the conference being held at the resort to their hotel.
“As it happened, our new Strata HF was on show and we had no hesitation in offering it up as a replacement vehicle while the shuttle bus was being repaired.
“The 16-seater Strata HF transported people throughout the evening in safety and comfort and many commented how they thought the vehicle was the perfect solution for the provision of accessible transport. We’re pleased that delegates and exhibitors alike enjoyed the ride experience.”
