OTS is a coach and bus operator based in Falmouth that really understands the local market. Richard Sharman went to see how it is making a success of its Mercedes-Benz Sprinter-operated town services

Tucked away on the Cornish coastline is the town of Falmouth, the most highly-populated town in Cornwall, with 22,500 residents. Home of the third-deepest natural harbour in the world and the deepest natural port in Western Europe, Falmouth can trace its history back to 1613, the port being the main reason for its creation.

Falmouth boasts amazing beaches, fantastic views and an interesting town filled with winding narrow roads. It also has its own university. All of these elements make Falmouth a major attraction for tourists, students and visitors from abroad, particularly when the cruise ships arrive.

One local operator which has found a rare niche in the town is Office & Transport Services Ltd, which trades as OTS. Where many towns have seen their vital services limited or completely cut, OTS has managed to grow its town service network.
