CTA England Policy conference Celebrating its 25th anniversary, the Community Transport Association (CTA) is holding its England Policy Conference on Thursday (December 1). The event includes a Parliamentary Reception in the House of Commons, hosted by Louise Ellman, chair of the Transport Select Committee and MP for Liverpool Riverside.
The Policy Conference takes place in the RBS Auditorium at 280 Bishopsgate, London.
Speakers include transport minister Norman Baker, rural affairs minister Richard Benyon, Louise Ellman, shadow transport secretary Maria Eagle and Paul Maynard MP – introducing a private members bill to extend the Concessionary Travel Act to community transport.
Conference fee is £100 + VAT for CTA members, including afternoon tea at the Commons and transport to and from Bishopsgate – courtesy of HCT Group.
