Dawsongroup bus and coach limited has acquired the rental business of O&H Vehicle Technology with effect from 1 August 2019.
Comprising an extensive range of vehicles for Patient Transport Services (PTS), the hire fleet will ‘further enhance the business activities of Dawsongroup bus and coach within the healthcare and welfare sector,’ the company said.
Commenting on the purchase, Paul Sainthouse, Managing Director of Dawsongroup bus and coach, said: “We are delighted to have reached agreement with O&H for the purchase of its hire fleet.
“We already have a significant presence in the PTS operator market and the addition of these vehicles and clients will reaffirm our position as the market leader in yet another area of the road passenger transport industry.
“We look forward to working with all of the stakeholders, and using our extensive resources to further raise standards of quality and service provided to our now expanded client base.”
O&H Vehicle Technology Managing Director, Oliver North, added: “As we’re currently increasing and improving our market share and product quality in our core manufacturing business, we’re extremely pleased to confirm Dawsongroup’s acquisition of our hire fleet in recognition of their superb ability to furnish customers with exceptional levels of care.
“This was the essential pre-requisite when looking for a home for our extensive hire fleet.
“We now look forward to manufacturing future vehicles for Dawsongroup as they intensify their PTS rental offering, whilst O&H Vehicle Technology continue to flourish in the manufacture of PTS and front-line ambulances.”
