The deadline for nominations for the UK Coach Awards (UKCA) 2015 has been extended. Nominations will now close on Friday, January 30.

Commenting on the decision, UKCA Director Chris Cheek said: “We’ve already had well over 50 nominations for the various categories from coach operators and their customers. But it’s a very busy time of year and we recognise how little time everybody has – so the more scope we can give everybody who might want to enter, the bettter.

“We’re particularly keen to hear from coach operators around the country about their top drivers, engineers and support staff – as well as the unsung heroes, those people in front line operations who keep the wheels turning day after day.”

Chris emphasised the boost that everybody can get from being involved in the awards. “Even just nominating your own staff in one of our categories offers a tremendous pat on the back: it’s a great way of saying ‘thank you’ to your people. After our independent judging process, our award finalists and winners get the additional bonus of a real confidence boost from knowing they’re amongst the best in the country at what they do.”
