The service will commence on 8 June

The new Southend Jetlink X1 service is being introduced to fill the gap when there is no other public transport operating to or from London Southend Airport.

Ensignbus is advertising the key points of vehicles to be used as modern double-decker buses with dual purpose seats, USB charging points and mobile phone holders.

The new daily service offers one departure each way, the London Southend Airport departure leaving at 2340hrs and arriving in London Victoria at 0105hrs, whilst the journey to the airport leaves London Victoria at 0305hrs and arrives at 0435hrs.

The service also stops at Lakeside bus station, Canning Town station, and Embankment station.

Example single fares on the X1 are London to London Southend Airport £15, or £10 for a child; no returns are available. Transport for London Oyster cards, or any other passes, are not accepted.

The first service will operate on 8 June.
