Epsom Coaches Group looks set to be one of the first customers for ADL’s soon to be unveiled Euro 6 bus range. The news comes as the RATP Dev-owned firm, whose bus operation is branded as Quality Line, announced an order for five new ADL Enviro 400s.

The vehicles will join an existing fleet of ADL double-deckers, to service expanded TfL routes 418 and 406, both of which operate between Epsom and Kingston.

Commenting on the order, which will see the buses delivered in mid- June, Steve Whiteway, Epsom’s MD said: “The ADL vechicles we have in service already have performed well on these two routes which operate across seven days.

“The latest version of the company’s Enviro 400 range will be built to the new Euro 6 emission standard, some of the first in the UK.

“In addition to the new buses, six more of our existing fleet will be totally refurbished, following a successful refurbishment programme last year. This will ensure the buses come up to the latest standards and continue to provide a first class service for the thousands who daily rely on these routes.”
