The circus pops up for one day only in locations across the UK to give children who would not normally be able to attend a conventional circus due to accessibility the opportunity to enjoy a circus performance of fun, laughter, singing and interaction with the performers.

The ‘Big Top’ circus performed two shows on the evening of 7 November for residents of the local Braunstone community in Leicester.

To coincide with the event, First Leicester promoted its newly-branded ‘Braunstone Bus’ to visitors and residents of the local Braunstone community, with free goodie bags being given out to over 1,000 children.

Managing Director, Nigel Eggleton was invited into the arena to present a cheque from First Leicester to ‘Circus Starr’ for £1,000 as the main sponsor of the event.
Commenting on the new branding, Nigel said: “Since branding the service we have started to see passenger growth of almost 8%, which is pleasing to see as the local community has really taken ownership of their bus service and new brand identity.”
