Drivers at First Manchester’s Bolton and Rusholme (South Manchester) depots who belong to the Unite trade union called off strike action on due to take place on Monday, October 9.

Unite agreed to recommend a revised offer and will ballot drivers.

Additional strike action had been planned for every Monday in October.

A First spokesman said: “We are very sorry for the inconvenience to date and are hopeful that staff will accept the offer being recommended by Unite, so we avoid further disruption for our customers.”
