Winchester-based Friends of King Alfred Buses (FoKAB) has confirmed details of the services it will operate for free on New Year’s Day, 2018.
While in keeping with the policy of recent years, the main Running Day will be on the May Day Holiday, Monday, May 7, 2018.
A smaller operation involving at least three vehicles will again take place on Monday, January 1, 2018, maintaining FoKAB’s long-established tradition and providing a service for the many supporters who would still like to travel on the historic vehicles on this day.
The bus services will be centred on the Broadway in Winchester and will operate broadly between 0900 and 1630hrs.
