London General and Stagecoach Selkent made gains in the latest round of London bus tender results.
London General gained the 153 from CT Plus, which has a Peak Vehicle Requirement (PVR) of 11 and commences February 3, 2018. It also takes control of the 24 hour 214 on August 17, 2019 (PVR 19), with Metroline conceding the contract. The operator also retained the 138 (PVR three, 2013 Euro 5 single-deckers), with all four new contracts beginning on March 17, 2018.
Metroline retained the 46 (PVR 19, recommencing June 23, 2018), though the vehicles to be used are not confirmed. It also retained the 274 (PVR 17) which will utilise new Euro 6 hybrid double-deckers and commence from the same date.
