The 17-seater Ford Transit conversions with three step front entry are available from £25,000

Minibus convertors GM Coachwork have launched a front entrance conversion on the standard Ford Transit 17-seater minibus.

The conversion turns the side entrance Transit into a front entrance vehicle by permanently sealing the slide door and using the front passenger door.

The conversion features three step entry, a high visibility handrail and a new floor covering for the entrance area.

The front passenger seat is repositioned in the rear cabin, matching in with the other OEM seats.

GM Coachwork claims its front entrance Transit conversion is ideal for PSV operators to replace ageing LDV front entrance minibuses.

The company offers both new and used fourth generation front entrance Ford Transits from stock from £25,000.

Graham Vooght, Managing Director of GM Coachwork, said: “Our transit conversion is perfect for PSV operators who need to have front entrance vehicles. By offering the conversion on used Transits, we’re also helping to keep the cost down for the operator.”
