After completing a graduate scheme at Go South Coast, Alex Chutter was soon involved in a series of exciting projects. His performance was recognised at the UK Bus Awards, with a Young Bus Manager prize. Angela Youngman found out more about his story
2018 was undoubtedly a challenging year for Alex Chutter. As General Manager for Swindon Bus he was already facing a major challenge in developing a new bus business – and within months of taking on that role, he was also having to deal with the fall out from the Novichok saga in Salisbury in his role as Operations Manager, Salisbury Red and Tourist. Given such challenges it is no surprise he won a Silver award for Young Bus Manager of the Year at the UK Bus Awards.
