The industry descended on Farnborough International last week to see the latest in low and zero-emission vehicles and technology

The first coach and bus industry trade show to be held for over a year, the new ITT Hub Future Logistics Conference was said to be a success by its organisers, with a healthy throughput of visitors over the two days. Major names and smaller suppliers from across the coach, bus, truck and van sectors showed off their latest products and developments, including ADL, Daimler, Switch Mobility and Wrightbus, whilst a series of discussions on a varied range of related topics was kicked off by a Keynote speech from Astronaut Major Tim Peake CMG.

Speaking after the event, ITT Hub CEO Mark Griffin said: “The first ITT Hub was a brilliant few days: we were so pleased to welcome thousands of visitors, exhibitors and speakers to the venue to explore the future of transport as we face the challenges of the future together as an industry. After just one event, ITT Hub has established itself already as the essential show for anyone working in transport; we are looking forward to 2022 and building on this phenomenal success. In response to feedback last week we are delighted to announce that next year as part of our growth strategy, we are adding recycling and waste management, cold chain storage and distribution plus even more of the energy and charging technology infrastructure to the exhibitor profile. The hugely positive response to our first outing has been overwhelming and these additions are the next logical step in the development of the all year round ITT Hub activity. I can guarantee more exciting announcements soon once the dust has settled.”
