Family-run Bourne, Lincolnshire, operator Delaine Buses has taken delivery of its sixth Enviro200MMC from Alexander Dennis. The company is now poised to put the bus into service on 1 March – the first day that the new ‘23’-plate registrations are launched.

The bus, which carries the registration AD23 DBL marks the continued investment by the company in new vehicles and completes the current investment of six single-deck vehicles which have joined the fleet over a 30 month period. It carries the traditional-style Delaine Buses blue livery with red interior.

Delaine says it now plans to switch its fleet investment strategy back to double-deck vehicles and has an ADL Enviro400 City on order, which it plans to put into service in September this year.
