Further to our report in issue 1490 about the return of the Kraken to the streets of London, the mythical sea beast seems to have spread its tentacles to other parts of the UK, including Edinburgh. Lothian Buses’ Wrightbus Gemini 3-bodied Volvo B9TL 422, BN64 CSV, was one of the last in its batch requiring repaint into the current fleet livery. The clever all over vinyls, advertising Kraken Rum, completes the image to make it look like the bus has been so treated without a single drop of paint actually used.
