An operator is hoping to get a Leyland coach bought new almost half a century ago back on the road. Leyland Leopard FRR194J was bought by Moxon of Oldcotes, Nottinghamshire in April 1971.
“It’s been off the road for the past few years, but is now in the workshop being tinkered with,” said Moxon Director Linda Marlow. “We would definitely like to see it back on the road. We might consider using it for private hire. The Plaxton-bodied vehicle was our dad’s pride and joy.” […]
