The London Transport Museum has launched regular Thursday evening opening sessions during June and July, giving visitors the chance to inspect its many new displays and attractions. Entitled Museum After Dark, the sessions will give adult visitors the chance to view exhibits in a relaxed atmosphere – and enjoy a drink at the bar.
Guests can get a glimpse of what the next decade could hold for life in the capital in the brand-new London 2030 installation, view the Hidden London exhibition in the Global Gallery and explore the newly opened London’s Transport at War and the London by Design galleries covering everything from maps to moquette.
Evenings will have various themes, from lost rivers of the capital to quizzes, interactive poetry and creative writing. The events take place from 18.30 to 21.00, with tickets priced at £12 (concession £10), with booking required in advance online at ltmuseum.co.uk/whats-on/after-dark.
