National Express has has teamed up with the UK’s only hovercraft operator Hovertravel and bus company Southern Vectis, so passengers to the Isle of Wight can buy one ticket to take them from London Victoria to destinations all over the island.
NX coaches travel to Southsea port in Portsmouth where passengers board the hovercraft for a 10-minute hop across the Solent to Ryde. From there passengers can catch the bus to Newport, Sandown, Shanklin, Ventnor and East Cowes.
Holidaymakers looking to return to the Isle of Wight can also avoid the hassle of buying multiple tickets when travelling back from Heathrow or Gatwick airports.
