New dates and locations for the Department for Transport’s (DfT) Section 19 & 22 consultation events have been announced.
The DfT has added new events in Exeter (April 5), Edinburgh (April 16) and Leeds (April 25). The DfT also said it is finalising dates for an event in Manchester.
The DfT sent a message to the Community Transport Association (CTA), which it posted on its blog ctablog.org. Within the message, the DfT said its officials are ‘keen to meet with CTA members at a series of events across England, Scotland and Wales as part of the Department’s consultation.’
It said: “The purpose of these events will be to explain the consultation policy proposals and answer questions, though officials will not be able to provide legal advice. The events will consist of a presentation and a question and answer session spread over a two-hour session.”
Along with the new events announced, other events will be held in Ipswich (April 9), Nottingham (April 13), Pontypridd (April 20) and London (April 27). Full details for each event can be found on the CTA blog, though each event is being run by the DfT and questions should be directed to [email protected].
