Eight new buses are being launched by First this week on services operating in Worcester. The new additions to the fleet represent an investment of £1.4m by the company.
The eight Wrightbus StreetLites come equipped with leather seats, wide entrance doors, a high proportion of low floor seating and an advanced heating and air ventilation system, all making for an improved passenger experience. All the new buses are powered by Euro 5 Cummins engines. This is further enhanced by the Micro-Hybrid technology on board which means each vehicle qualifies for Low Carbon Emission.
Managing Director of First Midlands, Nigel Eggleton, said: “Our £1.4m investment in these vehicles reflects our aim to further improve services in the area and provide a superior customer experience. I’m sure these new buses will be welcomed by our customers and encourage even more people to take advantage of the great value, high quality bus service we have in the city.”
