Metroline, Abellio and Stagecoach have made gains in the latest round of London bus tender results.

Metroline West won the 31/N31 contract from Tower Transit. The route has a Peak Vehicle Requirement (PVR) of 20, with the details of the double-deckers used still to be confirmed. Metroline also retained the 95 (PVR 14) which will utilise 2011 Euro 5 single-deckers. Both new contracts begin on April 28, 2018.

Abellio London won the 196 contract from London General (PVR 16) which will utilise new Euro 6 hybrid double-deckers from May 5.

Stagecoach East London gained the 474 24-hour service from Blue Triangle. With a PVR of 14, it will use new Euro 6 hybrid double-deckers from May 5.

Stagecoach also retained five other services. The 169 (PVR 14, new Euro 6 hybrid double-deckers), 247 (PVR 11, 2011 Euro 5 double-deckers) and 287 (PVR seven, 2011 Euro 5 double-deckers) recommence on March 24, while the contracts on the 241 (PVR nine, new Euro 6 hybrid double-deckers) and 330 (PVR 10, new Euro 6 hybrid double-deckers) begin on May 5.
