Peace Coaches of Echt, Aberdeenshire has taken delivery of its first ever Yutong coach. The Yutong TC9 model is fitted with 34 leather seats, toilet, power points and USB charging points.

The TC9 is powered by a Cummins ISB 6.7 320hp Euro VI engine, driven through a ZF Ecolife automatic gearbox.

Formed in 1986 as a small taxi firm, the company now operates a fleet of 18 coaches, ranging from 16 seats to 61 seats, plus a smaller fleet of eight seat minicoaches.

Davy, who collected the bus from Pelican Bus and Coach, Castleford along with one of his drivers, commented: “I was very impressed with the coach; it was a really smooth drive all the way back to Echt.”

A second Yutong TC9 is due to join the fleet in the coming weeks.
