BYD’s Founder and Chairman, Wang Chuanfu, with British Prime Minister Theresa May and Liam Fox, Secretary of State for International Trade in Beijing, during the recent trade mission to China.
The formation was announced of a new China-UK CEO Council of which BYD is the only new energy vehicle company member.
China’s Ministry of Commerce and UK Department for International Trade will lead the establishment of the Council. A total of 15 Chinese companies have been named as members.
