Changes to timetables for Greenwave and route 9 have been announced by Reading Buses.

The main Greenwave changes affect Mereoak Park & Ride with customers seeing a spread of 60X weekday express journeys during morning and afternoon peaks.

Sunday times are also amended.

Reading Buses also advises of minor changes to the Green Park timetable.

Minor changes to timetables, particularly on Sundays, will affect Kennet Island and there will also be minor revisions to the Reading International Business Park timetables.

The Madejski Stadium service is revised to reflect the switch in park and ride traffic to Mereoak.

Reading Buses says the Buzz 42 Sunday service to Rivermead is being reduced in frequency to better reflect demand.

Jake Osman, Reading Buses Marketing and Communications Manager, said: “We are changing our route 9 timetable now to coincide with some changes to our Greenwave contracted services as the extended journeys on route 9 inter-work with Greenwave route 66 to provide a good service between the Mereoak Park & Ride and the Royal Berkshire Hospital.

“Most of the changes are fairly minor, but there will be some changes to journeys that may mean customers having to check their new times before travelling. New timetables are on our website now and printed leaflets will be on bus very soon.”
