Czech coach operator RegioJet is expanding its fleet with 20 new Setra double-deck coaches. The new S 531 DT coaches will be used on international long-distance routes operating from the Czech Republic to the European cities of Amsterdam, Berlin, Rome, Paris and London.
The three-axle vehicles are equipped with 58 seats in a 2+1 seating configuration, along with a seat-back entertainment system, USB A and USB C charging sockets and a 230V socket at each seat.Passengers can also take advantage of a vending machine serving snacks, coffee and fresh water.
The coaches are powered by the Daimler OM471 in-line six-cylinder engine generating 510hp, coupled to a PowerShift automated manual transmission.
Founded in 2009, RegioJet has grown to become one of the largest scheduled coach service providers in the Czech Republic. It is based in Brno and operates a fleet of over 120 coaches in its distinctive yellow livery.
