The Austrian city of Salzburg has slashed the cost of parking a touring coach.
The flat rate of €38 has been abolished – and an hourly tariff of €4 has been introduced in its place. However, the daily amount for coaches is now capped at €24.
The fees are for the use of city’s three coach parks:
- Busparkplatz Nord: Connection Salzburg North, 5020 Salzburg
- Busparkplatz Süd: entry / exit, 5020 Salzburg
- Busparkplatz Hellbrunn: Fürstenweg 35, 5020 Salzburg
The drop-off and pick-up terminals remain at Paris-Lodron-Strasse and Nonntal, where coach passengers are in the centre within minutes.
