Operators and manufacturers as well as vehicle preservationists once again supported the Scottish Vintage Bus Museum’s Open Weekend at its 49-acre Lathalmond site near Dunfermline on August 19 and 20. Over 160 buses and coaches were expected to be exhibited in addition to close to 200 that are kept at the museum. Andrew Cairns and Keith McGillivray were there and this is a selection of the vehicles they photographed.

The Forth Road Bridge provides a backdrop to three vehicles that were exhibited, a preserved London United Alexander-bodied Volvo Olympian and newly delivered Lothian Buses Wrightbus-bodied Volvo B5TLs. KEITH MCGILLIVRAY
