Grand Tourer fleetto be upgraded with Euro 6 Mercedes-Benz Tourismo coaches in 2015

Shearings Holidays has launched its 2015 Grand Tourer programme, announcing a range of new service initiatives.

Shearings also announced that it will be investing in a range of brand new Mercedes-Benz Tourismo M Euro 6 coaches with new livery to complement its existing Grand Tourer fleet in 2015.

The 2015 programme will be showcased in a 99-page brochure, which is due to arrive with agents from December 29. The new initiatives, which are based on customer feedback, include the addition of a private lounge area with access to a selection of complimentary refreshments and free WiFi, as well as new bespoke ticket booklets, offering tips and advice to customers about their holiday.

The operator has also updated its tour and excursion programme.

As part of the extended programme, Shearings is introducing five new UK Grand Tourer itineraries. 11 New European itineraries are also featured this year.

Caroline Brown, Commercial Director at Shearings, said: “Our Grand Tourer programme has gone from strength to strength, with bookings up year on year. Following continued success, we’ve introduced new UK and European itineraries to give customers a breadth of choice when it comes to our specialist escorted tours.

“We continually strive to improve the customer experience at every step of their Grand Tourer journey. For 2015, we’ve launched a number of new service initiatives including a private lounge area at our Hythe Interchange and invested in a range of brand new coaches to complement our existing fleet. This is in-line with our commitment to listen to customer feedback and act upon-it.”

Incentives for agents include a free prize draw to win a chocolate hamper every day in January and February, while early bird customers can save up to £100 per couple when booking before February 28, 2015. In addition, the tour operator is offering up to four free places for groups of more than 40 people.
