EvoBus (UK) Ltd has announced that Shearings Leisure Group has placed an order for 43 Mercedes-Benz Tourismos, due to be delivered in spring 2017. The order follows the delivery of 46 Tourismos to a unique specification in spring 2016.
A total of 14 of the new coaches are 12m vehicles which will join the National Holidays fleet, with the remaining 29, all 13m vehicles, joining the Shearings Holidays fleet.

The 43 new Tourismos will feature an array of luxury features, such as full air-conditioning, arm and foot rests and dual 19” monitors paired with Bosch Professional Line audio/visual systems.
Power to all 43 of the new Tourismos is delivered by a Mercedes-Benz OM 470 engine. The safety specification on the coaches includes an advanced electronic braking system, lane departure warning system and an electronic stability control programme.
