Stagecoach East London sees success in London tender round

The latest round of London bus tender results have been revealed, with a single route gain for Stagecoach along with a number of route retentions.

Stagecoach East London gained the 193 from Blue Triangle. With a Peak Vehicle Requirement (PVR) of 11, the service will use new Euro 6 diesel single-deckers, along with a single 2013 Euro 5 vehicle, and renew on September 1, 2018.

On the same date, three further Stagecoach East London contracts will renew, remaining in the operator’s control. These are the 165 (PVR to be confirmed, new Euro 6 diesel single-deckers) 179 (PVR 12, double-decker will detailed to be confirmed) and 252 (PVR 14, 2013 Euro 5 double-deckers).

Metroline will retain the 24-hour 390, which renews on September 29 with a PVR of 30 and use 2013 Euro 5 New Routemasters.
