Stagecoach has lost several London contracts in the latest round of Transport for London (TfL) tender results, with a combined Peak Vehicle Requirement of 71.
The 5 has passed over to Blue Triangle. Its PVR of 30 will be covered by 22 Euro 5 double-deckers from 2010, along with eight new Euro 6 hybrids.
Blue Triangle also gained the 15/N15 (PVR 23, 2015 Euro 6 New Routemasters) and 115 (PVR 18, new Euro 6 hybrid double-deckers) from Stagecoach.
Metroline retained the 24-hour number 6 (PVR 24) and 98/N98 (PVR 23), both utilising new Euro 6 hybrid double-deckers. However, it lost the 18/N18 to London United. With a PVR of 44, the new contract will use new Euro 6 hybrid double-deckers along with 12 existing 2016 vehicles. It will begin on November 11.
