Brighton & Hove Buses has made what it thinks is probably the world’s first Santa suit made out of seat moquette. Santa Bobby Boyjonauth was pictured wearing the customised suit on the company’s Santa Bus, which visits more than 200 streets across 19 nights in the lead up to Christmas, spreading seasonal magic around Brighton and Hove.
The Santa suit is an exact match for the red material the company uses for its seats. It was made over one weekend at the bus company’s Conway Street trim shop, where Bobby works and which normally makes the seats and headrests for Brighton & Hove and Metrobus’ fleet of more than 400 buses.
